With our first system up and running it has been great to see the team working together to deliver a brilliant installation and to be able to see the results for our client already!
Setting up a business is no easy feat, as testified by anyone that has ever tried. Indeed, bringing together the resources, people, and expertise to deliver a great quality product or service is hard enough but then to secure your first customer is often the first barrier that can trip people over.
Yet this we have done, and with a very happy first customer indeed. We have been overjoyed to see the system installed with some great customer feedback. Our excitement
of having successfully installed, tested, and commissioned an effective system was only surpassed by seeing our clients enthusiastically exploring their new smartphone app monitoring their system’s performance against their demand. In particular the moment the client tells us “Wow the smart meter bill hasn’t increased at all!” was particularly memorable. Delivering results like these to our clients really does make the challenges of our new enterprise worthwhile!
More than anything our first customer has been a great reminder for everyone on the team why we have committed so much of ourselves to the renewable energy sector. This first system was a very standard 3 bedroom terraced residential family home with a relatively modest 7 panel solar PV and EESS (battery storage) system.
Yet despite how understated this scenario may be it has still saved this family thousands of pounds in electricity bills and prevented tonnes of CO2 being released into the atmosphere (not to mention all the other environmental destruction that comes with the continuous extraction, processing, and utilisation of petrochemical energy resources).
With each new system, and each new client we have the privilege of working for we must remember to not only be proud of the business we are building and the jobs we are creating but also, most importantly, the lives we are benefitting for our clients now and the generations of the future.
